Pål Eitrheim

Pål Eitrheim is a Norwegian citizen joining Equinor’s International E&P division in 1998. Between 2001 and 2004 he worked in Azerbaijan holding managerial responsibilities in government affairs, and gas marketing. Between 2005 and 2009, Mr. Eitrheim served as Head of the CEO’s office at Equinor headquarters in Norway. He held the position as vice president for U.S. Government Affairs in Washington, D.C. between 2009 and 2011. Mr. Eitrheim was senior vice president for Corporate Strategy and Analysis between 2011 and 2014. In 2013, he led the Secretariat for the investigation into the terrorist attack on the In Amenas gas processing facility in Algeria. Between 2014 and 2017, Mr. Eitrheim lived in Rio de Janeiro serving as President of Statoil Brazil and senior vice president for Statoil South America. He Chief Procurement Officer in Equinor in 2017 and 2018. In August 2018, Mr. Eitrheim joined Equinor’s executive committee as executive vice president for New Energy Solutions. He is married with three children and lives in Norway.
